Dear Reader, This collection grew out of many years of teaching children at a music school. Although the repertoire for advanced guitarists is extensive, there was a shortage of contemporary compositions that met the following criteria: • Ease of performance: The pieces use keys and scales suited to young guitarists, making them easier to learn. • Clear musical form: Each piece has a clear structure that helps students understand phrasing and musical form. • A variety of moods and characters: The titles reflect the expressive character of the pieces, helping students develop their interpretative skills and musical imagination. This is the second edition of “Guitar for Young Masters”, a collection for music school students at different levels who wish to develop their classical guitar skills. The collection contains 32 original pieces that nurture young players’ musical sensitivity and imagination. It also includes an ensemble piece for guitar duo. The author has recorded some of the pieces, and these performances are available on YouTube. QR codes appear beside the corresponding pieces.
